1o April 2oo7, Thursday

Today is the last day of my travel in Japan. As it is morning now, many people were heading off for work.

I walk past a noodles shop name “Tempura Udon Shop”. Outside the shop, I can see a lot of famous dishes and people queuing up for food. I walked inside the restaurant and saw many people eating. Most of them were locals though there were also a few foreigners. I decide to order the A set breakfast, which includes a green tea, a few sushi and Udon. While eating, I see pictures of the shop’s history and hear the sound of people gobbling down their food hungrily. The noodles and desert there were mouth-watering.

Next, I went to see Cherry Blossom. I see beautiful flowers and heard lovely couples speaking to each other, as if making some wishes or hopes. I can smell the scent of flowers and the fresh air that flowed through the entrance. I touched the flowers, and it feels, soft. I tried their famous cherry drink and it was absolutely great! It tastes very sweet and refreshing.

Thirdly, I went to Universal Studios in Osake. I can see many advertisements about movies from all over the world, such as Fantastic Four, Transformers. Among all, I love the comical show! I laugh all the way throughout the show. People were heard laughing and screaming when watching ghost movie. Snacks such as potatoes chips were sold and they were delicious and the price was reasonable. On the way out, I also took some photographs.

Lastly, I go to the Night Market. It was extremely crowded with all types of people shopping. The items sold there were cheap and attractive. I can hears people bargaining noisily too. I saw many different types of food like chicken wings, prawn crackers, sushi and more. On my way back, I bought a 3D latest game boy that costs only three-hundreds dollars!

It was a very tiring after a long and busy journey to all the four places. However, I am surprised that Japan actually has such beautiful places! There is everything there. Next time, I would recommend my friends and relatives to go there and explode the fun.

9 April 2oo7, Wednesday

It was three days since I came to Japan already. I had already waked up and could see people buzzing off to work.

I decide to have my breakfast at s sushi shop near the hotel. Before entering, I could smell the vinegar already! The shop was three times of normal living room, which was big to me. I tasted many sushi which I had not seen in Singapore. The wasabi was completely different form ours. It was a few times hotter and spicier!

Next, I went to a temple at Tokyo. Upon reaching, I saw the main hall. It was called kondo. The sacred objects were all displayed inside. I took few photographs before entering. They had a strange rule, shoes were not allowed inside. I was told that it disrespectful. I followed how others prayed by clapping their hands. After everything was done, I toured around and saw the Lecturing Hall and Pagoda.

The Lecturing Hall was used for meetings and lecturing while the Pagoda was a structure that evolved from a Indian stupa. I went into it and climbed to the top floor. I could see the whole view of the temple which was very beautiful! Fresh air blew towards me.

When I finished, I left the temple for Center Gai. It was a street next to Shibuya Station. Center Gai was famous for its Japan’s youth fashion trends. It was packed with many young people that day. I snapped many interesting pictures and even bought two dresses.

It was almost 7pm soon. I immediately turned to Shibuya Shopping Center which is opposite of Center Gai. Shibuya was one of Tokyo’s most colourful and busy districts. Outside the shopping center, there was a Hachiko Statue. It was about a dog named Hachiko, waiting for his master everyday even after his master passed away. It was a very famous and touching story.

I went inside the mall and had my dinner, soon, I felt tired, so I tried the traditional Japanese massage. It helped me relax. I left the shop and continued my shopping around the area.

Although it was tiring, I enjoyed it a lot. It was such a nice day !

8 April 2oo2, Tuesday

After the climb on M.t Fuji when we just touched down yesterday, I had a busy day today as I went to the Tokyo Disneysea and Disneyland. When I was queuing up to go in and I could smell sweet and hear shouting of children already. It was very crowded.

I took a map; there were a total of fourteen places of attractions. I watched a show called Mystic Rhythms at Lost Rive Delta and there was a cute shop which had a shape of a whale. I had a boat ride and played at the Penny Arcade where I met Disney characters such as Mickey and Mermaids when I took photos with them. Then, at last I went to a restaurant call the Crystal Palace Restaurant to have lunch. Soon, I bought a nice little keychain of a mermaid as a souvenir and left the place.

Next, I went to a spa called Yunessun and had a coffee and Japanese wine spa. Both of them were very unique spars. There were a lot of people and they were chatting quite loudly. Some girls are splashing water causing me to get wet. The smell of coffee and Japanese wine was heavenly, making me float on nine clouds.

Next, it was evening where I went looking for a restaurant that I could have dinner in, when I saw a long line of people queuing at a noodle shop. After queuing for a while, I settle myself on a empty chair and table and ordered a bowl of egg noodle and a cup of green tea. I looked around me and saw that the boss was busy cooking delicious noodles. However, the sound of boiling water and food cooking can even be heard outside as it was quite noisy. At last, my bowl of noodles came,. The smell of the noodle was mouth-watering, that it made me even hungrier. It was quite salty but still tasty.

I had such a wonderful time today as I had went to Disneyland and Disneyworld and had a lot of fun there. Had a coffee and a Japanese wine spa which I think I would never forget and a delicious bowl of noodles which I would like to try again, not forgetting the Crystal Palace Restaurant which saved me from being hungry all afternoon.

7 April 2oo7, Monday

Today was the first day in japan. After all that checking in and delaying at the hotel, I decided to go to Mt.Fuji for sight-seeing. When I reached my destination, I

I saw that Mt.Fuji was huge and majestic. Birds were chirping away and the air was filled with flower fragrance. Tourist there were snapping pictures of their friends with Mt.Fuji as their background. When I climb up Mt.Fuji to look at the scenery, it was an awesome sight. Also, I can see many different kinds of buildings. After that, I took a bus to Fuji Five Lake.

Fuji Five Lake was a magnificent lake with water splashing and tress swaying when the wind blows. I joined in a group of people who were fishing. After a few hours of fishing, I felt hungry and decided to have my dinner.

Te name of the restaurant is called Hotellie Maille Coeur Shouqetsu. It was a nicely decorated place with traditional Japanese atmosphere. People were having their conversation and there was peaceful music. Smell of the wine and food were luring and mouth-watering. The food tasted so delicious and I doubt I had taste such a wonderful food before. My favourite food was the lobster set that have a fresh, sweet taste.

The last place I went before coming back to the hotel was a Hakone, hot spring resort. It was a separate bath and I saw a few women chatting among themselves. I felt that the hot spring was very relaxing. I went to another type of hot spring that was called waterfall. Like the waterfall, the hot and relaxing water splashed down onto my body.

I felt that this trip to Japan was a memorable experience for me. The cool breeze in Mt.Fuji, the cooling water at Fuji Five Lake, the enjoyable food and wine at the restaurant and the relaxing, peaceful hot spring. I will never forget the memorable memories that I have in Japan.
